John Gitchell is the founder of Sustainable Business Solutions,
Inc. based in Eagle Colorado. John received his B.A. from Colorado State
University, ski bummed in Telluride, worked in hotel management, and studied
language and culture while working in Germany for two years. Inspired by
European environmental standards and business practices, Gitchell returned
to Colorado and earned his MBA at the University of Denver with coursework
in environmental policy and management. For ten years as environmental manager
at Vail Resorts, Inc., John led environmental programs at Keystone, Breckenridge,
Arapahoe Basin, Vail, Beaver Creek and the Grand Teton Lodge Company including
policy development and implementation of systems and standards. John’s
career passion is improving the environmental performance of business.
Katie M. Hoffner is a skilled International Marketing Executive. She has over 13 years of experience with global start up companies. Hoffner’s forte is niche marketing and grassroots programs. Hoffner has worked for consumer-based companies, such as UMBRO Worldwide and Outlast Technologies. She has also lived in Europe during an internship with German Members of Parliament. Most recently, Hoffner has been consulting with HydrogenWorks, LLC in Denver to promote hydrogen energy through marketing products that include the Hydrogen Education Tour, Hydrogen Magazine, Hydrogen.com and Hydrogen CEO Executive Roundtables. Katie’s education includes a dual degree from Sweet Briar College in International Affairs and German studies where she graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. Hoffner completed her Masters of Business in International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management.
Gina Bechtold-Yoo is a committed planner
for environmentally focused events. Ms. Yoo was instrumental in organizing
and promoting the 2003 Hydrogen Education Tour in Denver, which brought
together over 3,000 adults and students to learn about the benefits of hydrogen
and renewable energy. Ms. Yoo has also coordinated executive-level roundtable
meetings for Denver-based Montreux Energy, and gained internet experience
as a director with MallFinder Network, a provider of information services
to shopping malls across the United States. Ms. Yoo holds a BA in Environmental
Science and German from the University of Colorado.
